What it costs
Our real price bands — truck, fuel, blankets, equipment and the first 20 miles are already inside every one of them.
A local residential move is quoted as one flat all-in number. Most 2–3BR homes land in the $1,100–$1,400 band with a three-mover crew; stairs and specialty items are quoted on top, before you pay a deposit.
Minimums & deposit
3-hour minimum on any job with a truck, 2-hour minimum on labor-only.
A 25% deposit locks your date; the balance is due when the job is done. Cancel 72 or more hours before your slot and the deposit is refunded in full.
Saturdays, Sundays and the last few days of the month are peak — those slots are priced higher than a mid-week job, and the weekend rate is already inside the number we quote you. Nothing gets added on move day.

How long does a local move in NJ usually take?
For a 1-bedroom apartment in NJ, 3–5 hours is typical with a two-mover crew. A 2-bedroom lands around 5–7 hours. A 3-bedroom house usually runs 7–10 hours with a three-mover crew. Weekend traffic, stairs, and packing prep are the big variables — we bake all of that into the all-in number so nothing shifts on move day.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials?
Yes. We can drop off boxes ahead of your move (small, medium, large, dish packs, and wardrobe boxes) or bring a full packing crew to do it for you. If you already bought supplies, no problem — we work with what you've got.
Do you charge extra for stairs?
For most local moves in Essex County, one flight or a standard front-stoop is included. Long-carry stairs (4+ flights, or a long walk from the truck) may add a small fee — we tell you upfront on the quote, never on move day.
Do you charge by the hour or a flat rate?
For local NJ moves we quote a flat all-in price — the number you see is the number you pay, including fuel, tolls, blankets, and the truck. Only our labor-only service bills hourly, with a two-hour minimum instead of the four-hour minimums other movers push.
