Last-minute moves happen for real reasons — a lease flipped a week early, a closing pushed up, a roommate bailed. We don't punish you for it with an emergency surcharge: booking today costs what booking a fortnight out would cost. Weekend and month-end dates carry the same peak rate they always do, and that's already in the number we quote you.

What it costs
Our real price bands — truck, fuel, blankets, equipment and the first 20 miles are already inside every one of them.
Same-day is priced off the same bands as anything else — from $709.50 for a small load, $1,100–$1,400 for a 2–3BR. There is no surcharge for short notice.
Minimums & deposit
3-hour minimum on any job with a truck, 2-hour minimum on labor-only.
A 25% deposit locks your date; the balance is due when the job is done. Cancel 72 or more hours before your slot and the deposit is refunded in full.
Saturdays, Sundays and the last few days of the month are peak — those slots are priced higher than a mid-week job, and the weekend rate is already inside the number we quote you. Nothing gets added on move day.

Can I really book a mover for today?
Yes — if we have a truck available, we can load same-day. Same-day yes-or-no depends on time of day and how booked the calendar is. Text us as early as you can; the earlier we hear, the higher the odds.
Do you charge more for last-minute moves?
There's no last-minute surcharge — same-day is priced exactly like a job booked two weeks out. What does change the number is the date itself: Saturdays, Sundays and the last few days of the month are peak across the whole NJ market and we price them higher than mid-week. That weekend rate is inside the quote we give you, not added on move day.
What can't be moved same-day?
Very large full-house moves (4+ bedrooms), moves requiring building move-in paperwork from a management company that takes 2+ business days, and long-distance moves usually can't happen same-day. Everything else is usually on the table.
Is same-day only for small moves?
No — we regularly do same-day 1BR and 2BR apartment moves. If the load fits in one truck and neither building requires multi-day move-in paperwork, we can usually make it happen.
